Paula Paula PaulaPaula Patton was born in Los Angeles, California to a middle class family. When she was a kid she dreamed of big things. Her best-known roles include the crime thriller Precious as well as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. A middle-class mother in Los Angeles, she harboured big dreams as a child. Her mom loved watching films and instilled a love for movies in her daughter as well. Paula was a participant in co-curricular classes at her school, and was a drama enthusiast. Paula loved playing the role of an actor alongside her peers and was a participant in the school's stage productions. Acting in a variety of productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to take up acting as her career. She was in at the prestigious University of Southern California's summer school, and she enjoyed tremendously. She was awarded a three-month project making documentaries for PBS. Her first job was as a TV production assistant after she had completed her three-month work. Then she began producing documentaries. Her work was a joy, but she always wanted to become an actor. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a small role with Will Smith. Since then, she has appeared in several popular films as well as TV shows.
